Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and sear on both sides about 3 minutes per side, then let rest for around 10 minutes
  2. Combine the seasoning and set aside
  3. Melt the butter in large pot
  4. Add the minced garlic, worcestershire and seasonings and cook for 1 minute
  5. Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently
  6. Add chicken broth slowly in small batches
  7. Add heavy cream slowly in small batches
  8. Add chicken bouillon
  9. Add frozen peas
  10. While the broth heats up, make the dumpings
  11. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, and sugar
  12. Add milk, sour cream, and melted butter
  13. DO NOT OVERMIX or it will be dense
  14. Using a small scoop or spoon, create dumpling balls
  15. Drop the dumpings into the broth, making sure broth is spooned over each dumpling to cover
  16. Cover and set to simmer for 15 minutes
